Yes, dogs are allowed on the patio.
They have a large grassy area out back with a bag station and a gated patio up front.
They are gonna sell beer from next week onwards. Just have to bring your own growler though.
Sorry I don't believe they have regular nightly entertainment.
Great place - the food and the beer are amazing! The staff are so nice - it is a must to visit, when you are near by.
Stopped in while passing thru Yuma to give the kids a break from the car. Our server was phenomenal and the food superb. We chose to eat on the patio under the heaters. Everything was fantastic- had the Bavarian pretzels, fish and chips as well as the brisket sandwich "The Verdict." Kids had chicken fingers and a cheese burger. A great spot to stop, stretch the legs, have a bite to eat and a cold beer.
What a cool place to eat! I’m sure everyone here constantly hears prison jokes from patrons.....and we definitely kept making them. What we loved was how our server rolled with it and joked right along. That made the experience fun!!!! Delicious food and clean place. Good beer selection and food!
Bartender should definitely be working somewhere else. Unfriendly, & tried to overcharge me for my drinks. I visit many breweries and this one rates the worst. She would only let me try one sample and my dad only one sample. How pathetic! Most breweries will give you two or three samples per person. Other breweries will let you try their beers proudly! Getting the beer that you like to drink is important before or order a whole glass. Maybe the the owners can get a clue!
The food was amazing and the beer selection was awesome. We had the smoked meat plate and the tri tip and it was so good! Ate at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. This is a must visit if you are visiting the area. Wish we had found before our last day as we would’ve came here more.
I would not name a business this name. It's senseless, in bad taste, and any newcomers aren't going to know what it means until they are told. It's just not a good name.Look at those poor kids at the high school who play sports and have to have PRISONERS written on their chests. Its not attractive at all. It sends a mixed message at best. They would be better off naming themselves the Yuma Pumas. Atleast that rhymes.Yuma has so much more to offer than references to an old place of torture, where no doubt many suffered greatly. The museum should stay, but these references to it should not. Being named Prison anything is not inviting or interesting. You can come up with a better name than that, I'm sure.Have a contest. You'd fare better.
This was a cool place to eat at after visiting the Yuma Territorial Prison! The whole theme of the restaurant was really clever from the names of items on the menu to the plates they serve your food on! Food was delicious and service was very good. Hope to visit again some day!
So... for extremely overpriced pub food it was just okay. There was enough lettuce in my cob salad for two but once I mowed the lawn I found some nice fresh produce bacon and blue cheese... never enough avocado. My hosts had sandwiches that I could have made at home, but the homemade chips were nice. Tea wasn't as clear as it could be (LaFonda has the best tea). I give the Prison Hill Brewing Co... 3 out of 5.
Excellent burger, amazing fries - definitely ranks among the best of both.Highly recommend stopping by here if you’re a snow bird, passing through to California, or here for work.Nice staff, great atmosphere, reasonable prices!
